Two PhD students of Professor Khalid Mahmood have been successful in getting their degrees. They completed their doctoral work at the Institute of Information Management (IIM), University of the Punjab. Muhammad Safdar wrote a thesis on “Factors Affecting Knowledge Sharing Behaviour of Pakistani Engineering Students” under the supervision of Prof. Khalid Mahmood and Dr. Syeda
Hina Batool. Ammara Yousaf wrote her thesis on “Right of Access to Information in Punjab: Challenges and Prospects” under the supervision of Prof. Khalid Mahmood. Dr. Haroon Idrees and Dr. Nadeem Siddique participated as external examiners. On the day of public defense, Professor Khalid paid thanks to the examiners and congratulated the successful candidates. He also shared with the participants, the background and reasons for selecting topics outside the traditional library setting.
